Lake Moraine is situated in the Valley Of Ten Peaks, just 14 kilometers outside of Lake Louise, Alberta.
Lake Moraine is glacially fed. It reaches its crest until mid to late June. When the water is full it has beautiful shades of blue.
The lake color is from the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.
Lake Moraine offers several walking and hiking trails. Canoe rentals and accomodations are also available.
Moraine Lake Lodge along the lake provides the ultimate getaway for those seeking a luxurious escape for a relaxing vacation.
