Taktshang Monastery
Taktshang monastery is the most famous in Bhutan. It hangs on a cliff at 3,120 metres (10,200 feet).
The name Taktshang means "Tiger's nest". Taktshang is one of the most important monuments of Buddhism in Bhutan and one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the Buddhist world.
The monastery includes seven temples which can all be visited. Climbing to the monastery is on foot or on a mule.
