Ball's Pyramid
Ball's Pyramid is 562 m high, measuring 200 m across, making it the tallest Monolith out of the water in the World.
Ball's Pyramid is part of the Lord Howe Island Marine Park.
Viewing is by cruise boat only. Its surrounding waters are popular diving and fishing spots, and hundreds of sea birds circles its summit.
The pyramid was named after Captain Henry Lidgbird Ball, who first spotted it in 1788.
